I have over 20 years of experience working in the field of education ranging from K12 to higher education. I have past work experience inside institutional purchasing departments (UBC and UVic) and senior executive committees providing institutional leadership. I have expertise in technology adoption theories, digital strategies, and development of policies to support an organization in the development of guidelines for social media, privacy, intellectual property (copyright and creative commons), vision statements, and 3- to 5-year IT planning that is comprehensive by including the social aspects in addition to simply hardware and software.
